How did you first break into the industry? I didn't break into film until the end of college. I have my BFA in Musical Theatre and have been performing my whole life so the transition into film felt very comfortable and natural for me. It was something I have always had an interest in so I was very excited when I finally started getting into the film world.
Who/What inspires you as an actor?
Everything! I've done so many different things in the performing world and I'm passionate about anything that can make someone reflect and feel something. I think story telling is so important and being able to jump into a character and experience someone else's perspective is always so satisfying and refreshing to me.
What was your best set moment on ‘Delicious’?
So something I've been involved in a lot since I began my journey in film has been horror! It was always a goal of mine to be involved in a horror film one day and I've instantly jumped into the genre. I love it! So working on this short was so much fun for me. I loved the journey of the story but filming the awkward dinner scene definitely takes the cake.
What sort of person is going to love this short?
Everyone! It's an awesome story in a short amount of time that takes quite a turn at the end.
What advice would you give aspiring actors?
Try everything! You never know what you will learn from each experience or who you could meet. I love the community of filmmakers and how I always make awesome connections with every project that I do.
